Philipp Horak, Photographer Philipp Horak had his first encounter with photography at the age of 15 when he started his apprenticeship. After completion, he attended the Graphics Design and Photography College in Vienna were he took his Master of Photography degree. Subsequently his photos were published in the Austrian weekly magazine “Profil”. Today all the major Austrian magazines as well as companies such as Siemens, OMV, One, T-mobile and Niedermeyer are his clients. Both Austrian and international newspapers like Stern, Die Zeit, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Frankfurter Rundschau, Trend, Profil, Fortune, Focus, GEO, Weltwoche, Matador, and many more are working with Philipp Horak. From 2004-06 Philipp Horak travelled with the “Shaolin Monks” to Portugal, France, Spain, China and Austria. He also photographed the campaign “Blackaustria”. In 2006 he went with MSF to the Chad to report about a refugee camp in Goré. After that he travelled with a film team along the route of the Rally Paris Dakar. At the moment he is living and working in Vienna. |
